JUST THE BASICS – WHAT IS A CHURCH?
“Just the Basics” is a monthly series of intergenerational learning events to help us grow in our worship and our understanding of our faith. Even if you’ve been worshiping for years, there will be things to learn and reflect on. If you’re a new worshiper, this event will help you participate more fully in praising and worshiping God. Parents, please bring your kids and stay with them if you are able so you can learn together.
WHAT IS A CHURCH?
We are part of a church. We come to church. But what exactly does it mean to BE a church? In the second installment of our “Just the Basics” series, offered following worship on Sunday, October 14, we’ll be learning about different ways of understanding what it is to be a church. We’ll also be making a banner together that will be hung in the sanctuary on All Saints Day, Sunday, November 4. This event is for all ages and abilities. It is fun and interactive, with a variety of things to do. Parents and kids are encouraged to come together. Or just come on your own to play, create and learn!
