Courtenay Willcox, Transitional Pastor
Courtenay lives out her life's priorities of faith and family in her activities and involvements. A cradle Presbyterian, she is a former Moderator of the Presbytery of Philadelphia and served on the Presbytery’s Commission on Ministry. She is part of four-generations of Teaching and Ruling Elders and has a passion for youth, preaching, pastoral care as well as social justice issues including creation care, gun violence awareness, the work of anti-racism, and interfaith encounters. She is a facilitator for Main Line PA Interfaith Power and Light, serves on the board of Interfaith Philadelphia, and works as a public theologian on the board of Heeding God’s Call to End Gun Violence. She is a graduate of United Lutheran Seminary in 2019 and is a Candidate ready to receive a call in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Spending time in the Outer Banks with husband Tom, three adult children, a son-in-law, granddaughters, and schnoodle is a gratefully received gift. There is nothing like a sunrise walk on the beach!
