Dec. 18 – Longest Night Service, 7pm. Everyone is welcome! While Christmas is a time of joy for many, for those experiencing loss the contrast between all the family happiness shown in the media and reality can be especially painful. The Longest Night Service is a time for those who struggle with the season, for those dealing with grief and loss, or struggling with economic reality in the face of all the glitter and materialism we are surrounded by. It is a quiet contemplative service that ministers to the soul. You are invited to worship with us in the Tree of Life chapel on Tuesday, December 18 as we name the darkness and look toward the Light together. Following worship there will be light refreshments in the church library.

This service will feature special music by Cassie Zinkan who has a Masters of Music and Voice Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Cassie is a regular guest worship leader at Tree of Life.
