Worship at Tree of Life is traditional with a twist. It is designed to be accessible to a variety of people. It is fairly traditional in form, but it is informal and interactive in practice, with a variety of music styles. We have a “no shushing” policy, which means you can be free to be yourself.
You find all kinds of dress when you come for worship, from shirts, ties and dresses to shorts and flip-flops. Most people are somewhere in between. Wear what you are comfortable in.
Children are welcome in worship. There are worship folders and children’s bulletins available each week. Children through fifth grade usually come to church for the first part of the worship service, then leave for Sunday school following the time with children. Children are also welcome to stay with their parents for the entire service.
People with disabilities are welcome in worship. If you need special accommodations, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your needs. Our sanctuary and the main floor of our church are wheelchair accessible, with no steps and ramps throughout. If you are in a wheelchair or have trouble with steps please park in the front lot and use the main sanctuary entrance.
For those who need to take a break during the worship service, there is a quiet space with a rocking chair, large pillows, books and fidgets in the narthex at the rear of the sanctuary.
If you would like to visit the church building before you come for worship, please contact the church office. We will be happy to set up a tour.
